Originally from Cornwall, Helen has lived in the Banstead area for 36 years since graduating, working as an IT Programme Manager in Reigate & London after training as a Chartered Accountant. She has deep experience of the building and motivation of large and diverse teams across several continents, with a particular interest in commercial contract management and incentivisation, as well as change and risk management. She has always been active in her local Residents’ Association and her recent retirement at a time of seismic political change has deepened her determination to ensure social mobility and cohesion, with fair opportunities for all. She maintains an informed interest in the use of data and AI, which complements her passion for gardening and literature.
