Recently there have been accidents involving speeding vehicles close to two nurseries in Meadvale Village.
The Earlswood area already has a 20mph speed limit, introduced by local Lib Dems, & further 20mph limits have recently been implemented in Reigate High Street & Redhill’s Watercolour Estate.
Our residential roads should not be allowed to become unsafe fast rat-runs or cut-throughs.
20mph limits in other areas have been proven to save lives.
We are now re-preparing evidence to support more 20 mph limits in the Borough.
