This government has shredded the Conservatives’ claims to be the party of economic competence, along with the hopes, health and livelihoods of millions of citizens across the UK.

Here’s some of what they have achieved during their time in office.

Real average earnings are lower than in 2008 and the worst fall in living standards in generations.

Taxes are at a 70 year high yet 7.7mn people are on NHS waiting lists, schools are crumbling, and public services cut.

4.2 million children live in poverty in the UK - that’s 29% of all children. 2.7m children endure ‘deep poverty’, 500,000 more than in 2010/11.
