The NHS is struggling

High-quality healthcare, free at the point of use is essential and a thriving economy needs a healthy population. But The Conservatives have plunged the NHS into crisis.

People are no longer confident that when they need medical help they can get it. Millions are waiting for treatment and are unable to work, record high wait times, terrible availability of NHS dentists and not knowing how long you or a loved one will wait for an ambulance.

I believe everyone should get the care they need, when they need it. The Liberal Democrats would ensure everyone can get an appointment when they need one and get the crucial treatment they so desperately need. The Liberal Democrats are unique in our staunch support for Social Care services and social workers. Carers are overlooked and supporting them will massively alleviate the pressure from the NHS.
