Litter Picking in the River Mole!

Lib Dem Horley Town Councillor, Steve Wotton, got on his wadders on a litter pick long side the river Mole on Sunday (organised by Lib Dem Campaigner, Sam Mearing). The River Mole is sadly quite heavily polluted by sewage outflows from local water treatment plants (see our campaign on this here) and from run-off from local farming and industrial activity. But worse still, the River is also prone to accumulating litter and rubbish. It will take a lot more litter pick campaigns in the the coming months to really make a difference!
